born in 1965, is an enthusiastic mother of five and grandmother. She grew up in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (ČSSR) and studied theology in Prague, Halle an der Saale and Tübingen (Germany). Since 1994 she lives with her family in Jerusalem.
From the beginning of her time in Israel, Krista described her experiences and explained Jewish culture, religious practices, and the thinking of the Jewish people. Her articles have been published in newspapers and magazines in the Czech Republic and German speaking Europe. She has worked as translator of books and articles into the Czech language and is herself author of several books.
As a popular speaker, she is mainly available to Czech tour groups visiting Israel. Recently she also gave lectures in German. Not only does she talk about everyday life in Israel, she also devotes herself to interpreting biblical texts based on her knowledge of the Hebrew language and daily life among the Jewish people.
